Kinbaku Mind and Techniques 2 Launched!
2009/11/13

"Mind and Techniques 2" was just added to
Jugoya lineup.

In this volume 2, Arisue focuses on the subject of sitting and lying
poses of "floor works" (yukawaza) .

The book is bilingual, in Japanese and English.

Outstanding feature of this volume 2 is, in addition to the book we
will release corresponding DVD (2 discs) with English subtitles. Now
you can see his moving demonstrations.

The book and DVD complement the role each other and we believe
repetition of reffering to both book and DVD will dramatically
improves your kinbaku.

Shipping methods updates
2009/11/06

We have found out that tracking number is not available for small packets (2kg or less) of SAL and surface mail.
"Registered mail" service is still available for these services with additional charge, but we are not able to trace the parcel clearly.

To pursue top quality service, we would like to stick to traceable shipping methods by avoiding predictable troubles (lost parcels, etc.).

So we decided not to handle small packets service of SAL and surface.

Regular parcel (heavier than 2kg) of SAL and surface are still available which are less expensive than EMS.

As we will insure SAL and surface to be compensated up to JPY20,000 in case of accidents, total amount of JPY750 (handling charge + insurance) will be automatically included in the shipping cost when you choose SAL or surface.

For EMS, insurance is included in the cost itself, only JPY300 of handling charge will be included like so far.

In conclusion, if your parcel is 2kg or less, EMS is the best option.
It's much faster but less expensive than SAL and surface, plus insured.

If your parcel is heavier than 2kg, SAL or surface can also be options for you.

You can check weight and shipping cost estimation during order procedure.

We are sorry for confusing you in this matter and wish you understand a tracking number system is very important for us to maintain a high customer service.

Additional shipping methods at Jugoya
2009/11/05

In addition to existing EMS, we decided to handle SAL and surface shipping methods for international customers who prefer inexpensive service.
During the ordering process you will see a list of additional options.

Here is some information on the services took from post office website:
EMS (Express Mail Service):
Top priority among international mails is placed on this service. Posts will be delivered for approximately 2-4 days to addressee all over the world.

SAL:
This is a service where international mail is handled as surface mail in both Japan and the destination country and as airmail between the two countries.
The service is faster than surface mail while the cost is lower than airmail.
It takes approximately 6 to 13 days. In some cases, it may take longer due to the handling system of the destination country.
SAL is available for the listed destination countries:
http://www.post.japanpost.jp/int/service/dispatch/sal_ichiran.html

Surface:
Sent by surface (sea freight). While the delivery takes 1 to 3 months, the rates are reasonable.

For more information please refer to Japan Post website:
Service comparison:

Price list:

*Tracking number is available for all above methods.
*We still highly recommend you to choose EMS service. Although the cost is higher than SAL and surface, it's very fast and said the risk is lower the parcel to be opened at the customs.
